The Family Place is all about building stronger families in Cache and Rich Counties. Working with both parents and children, we are here to support good relationships and help develop new approaches to family life. We strive to build stronger families by hosting fun, family-focused events in the community as well as offer a variety of programs such as workshops, counseling, and our Kid’s Place. The Family Place will always be known as a place for families of all kinds. We welcome anyone who wishes to grow closer to his or her family and learn with us!

The Family Place was established in 1982 as a small facility in Logan known as The Child & Family Support Center. The Center started with goal of providing a safe shelter for children involved in crisis situations, and has since expanded to meet the needs of all families. We continue to grow to meet the needs of the community. We now have three locations in Logan, Hyrum, and limited programing available in Smithfield.

The English Language Center of Cache Valley, Inc. teaches English, basic life skills, U.S. Citizenship preparation, and employment education to adult speakers of other languages. These services act as a catalyst for real education-based change leading to opportunities for individual and community prosperity, self-sufficiency, and cultural integration.

One Wish is a non-profit organization, serving the Cache Valley area, founded in 2011 to help grant a wish to people 18 and older facing a life-threatening illness.  We are hoping to make these wishes possible through the generosity and support of our community.  We have a wonderful and energetic group of people who have helped us get started, but the talents and resources in the Cache Valley Area are what we need to sustain this Foundation.  One Wish is dedicated to making a wish come true for someone struggling with the challenges that come to them and their families as they near the end of a life-threatening illness.  It is our hope to ease that burden for them and add some comfort and peace to their lives.
