Last Thursday, April 20, 2017 was our first giving meeting ever for the Cache Valley chapter of 100 Cache Valley Women Who Care. Thank you to those of you who came!! 3 very deserving charities came and presented to us about all they do for our community and also needs they have. The English Language Center, The Family Place and Little Lambs Foundation. It was so difficult choosing just one, but we voted and The English Language Center was chosen. My eyes were opened to all the need there is and all the good being done and especially the impact we can have as a combined group. If you would like to jump in on this quarter's giving it's not too late!! Just go to www.100cachevalleywomenwhocare.com and register, then you will get an email with the address of where to send your $100 check (written to the ELC). It will be combined with all that has already been donated and will be presented to The ELC next week. As far as the 2 charities that didn't get the vote this time, they will stay in the running for our next giving meeting in July. Even if you can't make the 1hr meetings each quarter, you can still join us and donate by just sending your check and voting by proxy. My job in this organization is to get the word out and get our numbers to at least 100 so that our combined gift can be at least $10,000 each quarter. So get registered now while you're thinking about it and tell your friends too!!
